In the spirit of Ramin Djawadi’s music for Game of Thrones, "Rhythm and War" is a fiery pre-battle adventure theme enlivened by the sounds of a symphony orchestra. Composed, orchestrated, and produced by Kirste Dorian, 25, from New Jersey, daughter of Marvel artist/mixed martial artist/actor Guy Dorian as well as daughter to a horror sculptor mother, and sister to a screenwriter. Dorian composed this orchestral work as a gift to the world for her mother, an active Game of Thrones fan, who overcame acute myeloid leukemia and is recovering from a bone marrow transplant. Kirste wrote her first work on the same day she received her first keyboard at six years-old and has not stopped since. From composing and learning piano, to playing the clarinet in ensembles, to picking up the bass guitar and making rock bands, to drawing fine art, she found herself in the influence of her artist and movie-oriented family-- now she is here to spread her passion to the world while she gradates from Berklee College of Music, making her way toward big orchestras, TV, games, and films.
